We utilize a Two-Generation 2Gen Approach to educate young children and help their parents along a path to self-sufficiency. Our Family Advocates and other staff help parents set personal and family goals such as attending school, participating in job training programs, or further employment, and we collaborate with our community partners to help parents access these services.

Parents provide input on the programs and information they need, forming the content of our Family University program. This holistic approach supports our belief that children do better as their parents do better. I love everyone in the building, as soon as I arrive in the building they greet me and treat me well.

I work a full-time job, my wife works a full-time job and my daughter is loving it here. I also have a nephew who attended Head Start, too. He is currently ahead of his class and has mastered a lot of skills. The staff here means everything to me, they treat me like family. My daughter has been here for two years and they help me with counseling and all the way around.
